Who invented the laptop and which company first produced it commercially?

The laptop was invented by Adam Osborne in 1981. It was called 'Osborne 1' and cost $1,795. It came bundled with $1,500 worth of programmes. It had a tiny computer screen built into it. It was invented by Osborne Computers. The first portable computer was a success, with sales reaching 10,000 units a month. IBM launched the IBM 5155 Portable Personal Computer in 1984. In 1988, Compaq Computer launched the first laptop PC with VGA graphics, Compaq SLT/286. In 1989, NEC released UltraLite, which was the first 'laptop' computer. Weighting under 5 lbs, it was the precursor of today's models.

India's First Supercomputer

The first Indian super computer was  Flosolver , which was developed by the Bangalore based  National Aeronautical Laboratory  (now National Aerospace Laboratories, NAL). The latest system in the Flosolver series is the Flosolver Mk3, which is in use at the Centre for Atmospheric Sciences  of the Indian Institute of Sciences.  The most powerful Indian super computers so far have been the Param series, whose Param Padma version can make 1 trillion processes per second. well CDAC (Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC)) made the first Indian Super computer "PARAM"

Although the Bugatti Veyron lost the title to SSC Ultimate Aero on March 2007, Bugatti challenge the record in Germany on July 10, 2010 with the new 2010 Super Sport Version and the Veyron once again claims the title of the fastest car in the world at 267 mph. The original  Bugatti Veyron  has a top speed of 253 mph, priced at $1,700,000 and equipped with 1001 hp.
